I’m going to be laconic this time since I really don’t feel like ranting and raving about the billboards, the technicalities, size 10, the latest statements and so on and so forth. So I’ll just make use of that wonderful tool at our disposal these days - the link - and allow readers to draw their own conclusions. The key words are lesser evil, Teodem party, hate figures and the iconic line “we did everything to deserve it”.

Now that was some time eh Dave? Did you notice the 503 responses to that post on J’accuse?
No facebook. Few blogs discussing alternative politics… and that critical mass was still lost in the end – AD performed dismally as the fear factor ran out the eventual winner (A.E.T.).
Sure the “we did everything to deserve it” sounds very contradictory – particularly given Daphne’s activism in bursting the critical mass bubble that time round…
Yes we did use our little platform to sell the message of the need for change that would get the critical mass rolling. Just see the following other examples:

I can’t draw any conclusions, maybe because I belong to another socio-economic, age cohort, professional circle, electoral district, etc. Or maybe because I can’t figure out what “Teodem” is.

Facetious Fausto. Interesting word facetious. It’s a neat example of a word in which all the vowels appear in the correct order. Ejja Fausto, now scoot off and find me a few more.
Teodem: Il termine teodem è un neologismo coniato da Luigi Bobba, senatore ed ex presidente delle ACLI, spesso usato dai mass media, in ambito politico, per indicare le correnti cattoliche schierate politicamente con il centro-sinistra (e il Partito Democratico, in particolare) e caratterizzate dall’aderenza alle posizioni etiche e dottrinali propugnate dalla Chiesa cattolica.Nel linguaggio politico comune il termine ha finito per significare integralista cattolico schierato nel centro-sinistra. Ciò non significa che i teodem assumano posizioni conservatrici in tutti i campi: per esempio, aderiscono all’impostazione cristiano-sociale in campo economico.
